We've updated the app for fearless iOS17 & Android 14 pioneers who took the plunge.  We were busy making some little tweaks in the background so that you won’t notice a thing.

• 🔧 Fix:

We eradicated a pesky bug that was gnawing away at our DISH Set PIN feature.  Did your saved email contain capital letters?  Who cares?  Not your PIN that's for sure.  

• 🌟 Updates:

The app banners got a nice little polish to make sure they're even better than ever before.

🚀 New:

• What's cookin'?  DISH Digital Solutions GmbH

  • Rebranded DISH is looking rather dishy if we do say so ourselves.  

• Our designer drank copious amounts of coffee and, fuelled by questionable office snacks, emerged with a dazzling revamp of the app home screen.  They may be slightly jittery, but we think it was worth it.

  
  

  
• Admit it, some of those team member mug shots were starting to resemble a 'before' picture in a makeover reality show.  Well, the day has arrived, and it's time to bid those outdated images farewell!  Whether you've already given your team a digital makeover or you're just ready for a fresh start, get ready to hit that edit button.
• We've updated the app for fearless iOS16 pioneers who took the plunge.  We were busy making some little tweaks in the background so that you won’t notice a thing. (iOS only)

🔧 Fix:

• Rest assured it wasn't intentional when we unleashed a mischievous translation bug upon the delete account feature. The translations should be as accurate as your accountant during tax season.  If you discover any translation blunders, please don't hesitate to share them with us. (iOS only)

🌟 Update:

•  We're happy to share that your device back button is now super obedient in the tool webviews and won't close the app anymore. (Android only)

🚀 New: Login with PIN

• We’ve added a new feature to the app that’s so amazing you can forget not just your worries but even your DISH password!  So yeah, we were on a roll optimising the app login and this release allows you to easily set a secure PIN for your mobile device rather than remembering a password.  What's not to love about that? Here's how this works.

• Set Login PIN

  • After a fresh login, you will be presented a pop-up to set up a password ecryption 4 digit PIN for your current device. An error is shown if the confirmed PIN does does match the chosen PIN.
    
    
    
    

• Login with PIN or password -> success

  • If you've already set a login PIN and find yourself logged out of the app, then you will be presented the PIN Login screen upon opening the app. You can either simply enter your PIN, or choose to login with password - very useful if you've forgotten the PIN or somebody else set the PIN on the device and you don't know it.
    
    
    
    
    
    
    

• Login with PIN or password -> fails

  • If your login details have been updated on the DISH.co website or in another mobile app session (specifically mobile number/email & password), then login with PIN will fail and you will be informed via a pop-up alert. This time just log in with password and visit My Account to set a new login PIN.

    
    

    

• My Account/Set Login PIN

  • Visit My Account to set up a Login PIN for your device. You must re-login to validate your password though - we want to be super sure we encrypt the correct password.

    
    

    

• 🔧 Fix: Webview crashes be damned!  We hunted them down and wiped them out!

• 🌟 Improvement: Marketing Permissions

  • Tell us what you want...after changing DISH countries we will again ask your permission to send marketing messages.  If in doubt, opt-in and you won't miss out on fascinating, up-to-date DISH news.
