Release Notes 2023 CW33

  • 🚀 See cancelled reservations more easily: We added a filter for cancelled reservations in your reservation list to easily see if anyone cancelled their reservation. Simply click on the filter, and find all cancelled reservations. So if someone cancels last minute, you will see it more easily and be able to assign the free seat to walk-ins, instead of sending them away.

Updated T&C information/confirmation

  • The information text for Terms and Conditions in the registration step was updated to: "By clicking "Register" you agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy set by our site."
  • Guest orders now have to accept the terms and conditions on the checkout page to make an order.

Print Out Improvements

  • Print Outs are now containing Option Prices.
  • Print Outs are now showing if it is an ASAP- or a Pre-Order.

Release Notes CW 25-2023

🚀 New: Login with PIN

  • We’ve added a new feature to the app that’s so amazing you can forget not just your worries but even your DISH password!  So yeah, we were on a roll optimising the app login and this release allows you to easily set a secure PIN for your mobile device rather than remembering a password.  What's not to love about that? Here's how this works.
  • Set Login PIN

    • After a fresh login, you will be presented a pop-up to set up a password ecryption 4 digit PIN for your current device. An error is shown if the confirmed PIN does does match the chosen PIN.

  • Login with PIN or password -> success

    • If you've already set a login PIN and find yourself logged out of the app, then you will be presented the PIN Login screen upon opening the app. You can either simply enter your PIN, or choose to login with password - very useful if you've forgotten the PIN or somebody else set the PIN on the device and you don't know it.




  • Login with PIN or password -> fails

    • If your login details have been updated on the DISH.co website or in another mobile app session (specifically mobile number/email & password), then login with PIN will fail and you will be informed via a pop-up alert. This time just log in with password and visit My Account to set a new login PIN.


  • My Account/Set Login PIN

    • Visit My Account to set up a Login PIN for your device. You must re-login to validate your password though - we want to be super sure we encrypt the correct password.


 

  • 🔧 Fix: Webview crashes be damned!  We hunted them down and wiped them out!
  • 🌟 Improvement: Marketing Permissions

    • Tell us what you want...after changing DISH countries we will again ask your permission to send marketing messages.  If in doubt, opt-in and you won't miss out on fascinating, up-to-date DISH news.

  • 🚀 Stay informed about updates: With busy schedules in your restaurant, it might be difficult for you to find out what is new in DISH Reservation. That is why we from today on will notify you, whenever there is something new worth sharing. Simply check here or click "Subscribe" at the top of this page for email updates.

What's new:

  • 🚀 Let your guests know what they can expect: Share important information in the widget with guests before they make a reservation, e.g. that they can stay for 2 hours, that you don't accept delays of more than 15 minutes or that you don't serve special dietary restrictions. For this, simply add "additional information to your guests" in the reservation widget here.
  • 🚀Surprise your guests by remembering what's important to them: Guests like it when you remember what they care about (e.g. special food, drink or seat preferences). That is why you can now add "internal guest notes" to your reservations. Next time the person comes, this note will appear on the reservation.
  • 🚀 Be more flexible in managing your reservation capacity: Flexibly manage your reservation capacity, by blocking certain tables for online reservations in your settings. This allows you to keep tables free for walk-ins, special guests or an unexpected increase of guests.
  • 🚀 We removed guest comments from SMS: SMS on reservations and reservations request will not show guest comments.
  • 🚀 Notification for guest feedback only per E-Mail: You will now be notified about guest feedback exclusively per E-Mail, and no longer also per SMS.
