🚀 New: Login with PIN
- We’ve added a new feature to the app that’s so amazing you can forget not just your worries but even your DISH password! So yeah, we were on a roll optimising the app login and this release allows you to easily set a secure PIN for your mobile device rather than remembering a password. What's not to love about that? Here's how this works.
Set Login PIN
- After a fresh login, you will be presented a pop-up to set up a password ecryption 4 digit PIN for your current device. An error is shown if the confirmed PIN does does match the chosen PIN.

Login with PIN or password -> success
- If you've already set a login PIN and find yourself logged out of the app, then you will be presented the PIN Login screen upon opening the app. You can either simply enter your PIN, or choose to login with password - very useful if you've forgotten the PIN or somebody else set the PIN on the device and you don't know it.

Login with PIN or password -> fails
If your login details have been updated on the DISH.co website or in another mobile app session (specifically mobile number/email & password), then login with PIN will fail and you will be informed via a pop-up alert. This time just log in with password and visit My Account to set a new login PIN.
My Account/Set Login PIN
Visit My Account to set up a Login PIN for your device. You must re-login to validate your password though - we want to be super sure we encrypt the correct password.

🌟 Improvement: Marketing Permissions
