“No-Shows” in general overview

This was needed due to the introduction of our new DISH Reservation No-Show Card Guarantee Add-On. If the add-on will not be activated, the options will remain without functionality. More info about can be found here.

🔧 Website performance overview fixed

We’ve fixed an issue that affected the Website Performance overview in DISH Website.
Some users were temporarily unable to view statistics about their website’s activity and performance.

With this update, all data in the Website Performance section is now displayed correctly again, giving you full visibility into your website’s traffic and engagement.

No action is required, the issue has been resolved automatically.

We’ve made important improvements to DISH Order to enhance both accessibility and performance, ensuring a smoother experience for all users.

🧭 Accessibility Improvements

To comply with the latest European Accessibility Act (EAA), the DISH Order storefront is now easier to navigate and use for everyone, including users who rely on assistive technologies.
Here’s what’s new:

• Headings are better structured and logically ordered.
• Buttons and forms now have clear, descriptive labels.
• Images include alternative text for screen readers.
• Colors and contrasts are optimized for better readability.

These updates make DISH Order more inclusive and user-friendly across all devices.
No action is needed, the improvements are automatically applied.

⚙️ Technical Enhancement: Terminal Sleep Mode

We’ve also addressed an issue affecting some Android terminals where sleep mode could not be disabled.
With this update:

• Your DISH Order Terminal will remain awake as long as the DISH Order App is open.
• You’ll continue to receive all incoming orders without interruption.
• Sound notifications for new orders will remain active.

This change is automatically enabled, no settings need to be adjusted.

Finding transactions just got easier!
We’ve updated the date picker in the transaction list to help you filter results faster, no more endless scrolling.

• Quick-select filters like Today, Last 7 Days, and This Month
• Custom date range selection for more flexibility

Merchants in Portugal can now:

• Complete their onboarding in Portuguese
• Use MBWay as a new payment method (exclusive to Portugal)

This means smoother onboarding and payments for all Portuguese users — no action needed.

🧾 See which device made the transaction

You can now view the device name that processed a payment, directly in the Transaction Details screen.

This small change brings more clarity and helps you easily track and understand your transactions.

💬 Clearer messages during onboarding

We’ve improved the communication throughout the onboarding (KYC and DPN) process:

• Messages are easier to understand
• Errors are more clearly explained
• The overall experience is smoother

These updates are already live — no setup or reconfiguration required.

We’ve launched a new SMS feature to help you improve communication with your guests in DISH Reservation.

🚀 What’s new?

Starting April 15th, 2025, you can book our new monthly SMS package to send messages directly to your guests — whether it’s to ✅ confirm reservations, 🔄 provide updates, or ⏰ send reminders.

SMS Package Details:

• €6.90/month (+VAT) includes 200 SMS
• Each additional SMS costs €0.04
• Special offer: Send unlimited SMS until November 15th, 2025
• The package is cancellable at any time

⚠️ Important:

If no action is taken, from May 15th, 2025, the SMS you currently send will no longer be delivered.

We understand that this change introduces a cost, but it’s an important step to continue offering a reliable, professional SMS service to support your restaurant's needs.

🔧 Fixes

• DISH Order Web view Buttons

Dear DISH Order users, who also have DISH App, we have updated the handling of buttons inside the web view. You can now tap with confidence on the KITCHEN link in the side menu to configure and save your Categories, Menu Items and Mealtimes.

• Crash fix

Also, during a routine check, we spotted an unexpected crash on the Home screen. Not on our watch! We quickly rolled up our sleeves and squashed that bug too.
