Introducing the push notification instead of the SMS

New:

  • 🚀 We are switching from SMS to Push Notifications: Clients with DISH Professional Reservation and DISH Premium subscriptions can now finally receive reservation related push notifications on the DISH App. You keep the advantages of SMS, and get a wide range of additional benefits.
  • 🔧 Action Required: On 05/03/2024, we will stop sending you SMS; instead you will receive push notifications. SMS to your guests will be sent as usual. To get push notifications, download the DISH App via App Store (for iOS) or via Google Store (for Android).

  • 🚀 The advantages of Push notifications:

    • Easily see any upcoming reservation in your new notification centre 
    • Instantly see last minute changes to your reservation 
    • Add an unlimited number of team members to be notified 
    • Directly access a reservation request via a link in the notification 
    • Get more information, e.g. be notified about guest feedback and view details of change requests

Cancelling orders and entering a reason

This functionality is only available for Germany 🇩🇪

🌟 Update: 

  • In Germany its mandatory to have a valid reason for every cancellation of orders.
  • New function: Instead of writing a reason, you can now select your reason. 
  • This process will speed up your day-to-day business.

DISH Reservation push notifications and App banners improvement

  • 🚀 New:

Welcome to build V1.20.6 - the one with the charming DISH Reservation push notifications.  You're excited, we're primed and while normally we don't like being "pushy"...they're swooshing over to an account near you very soon! 

 

We've updated the app for fearless iOS17 & Android 14 pioneers who took the plunge.  We were busy making some little tweaks in the background so that you won’t notice a thing.

  • 🔧 Fix:

We eradicated a pesky bug that was gnawing away at our DISH Set PIN feature.  Did your saved email contain capital letters?  Who cares?  Not your PIN that's for sure.  

  • 🌟 Updates:

The app banners got a nice little polish to make sure they're even better than ever before.

WhatsApp-, YouTube integration and Wallet functionality

🚀 New:

  • WhatsApp API: WhatsApp can now be accessed via DISH Support (mobile and web browser).
  • YouTube API: YouTube can now be accessed via DISH Support web browser.
  • Wallet function: Using the wallet function, you can now also save DISH Support  on your cell phone for faster access.

Miro Board Integration

🚀 News: 

We are happy to announce that Miro has been integrated into the DISH Support knowledge base. 

Here is an example on how it is supposed to look like on the knowledge base:

Once you click on "See the board", you will have a full preview of the board linked to a certain article on the knowledge base. 

You can also click on the Flowchart button at the bottom to get your board previewed on the Miro website in a bigger format.

The Miro presentation format is also added to the DISH Support knowledge base, and here is how it looks like on a certain article:

By clicking on "See the board", you can view the Miro presentation and navigate between its pages.

German VAT Change

🚀 New:

In Germany, the VAT on in-house food changes from 7% to 19% on 1-1-2024. 

Please check your prices and VAT rates before the end of the year. The restaurant owner is always responsible for the prices. 

The Back office will be updated in week 50 (11.12-15.12) to the newest release that makes it possible to guide you as a restaurant owner through the VAT change. It will also be possible to easily change your prices effective on the 1st of January.
